Housing and Urban Development (HUD): Free Foreclosure Intervention Counseling
A free certified counseling agency may be able to help you save your most important asset and get your finances back on track. Contact a US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)-approved Foreclosure Intervention Counseling organization. Call toll free 1-800-569-4287 or find a HUD-approved Foreclosure Intervention Counseling organization on the HUD Web site (Texas search results page).

Homeownership Preservation Foundation (HPF)

Making Home Affordable (MHA)
The Making Home Affordable Program (MHA)®, an official program of the departments of the Treasury and Housing and Urban Development, provides a broad range of foreclosure prevention solutions, including lower monthly mortgage payments for struggling homeowners, as well as options for unemployed or underemployed homeowners and those who owe more than their homes are worth.
