Criminal History Checks
TDHCA will conduct criminal history checks through the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Selective Service Registration
If you are a male 18 to 25 years of age, an offer of employment is contingent upon you presenting proof when you report for your first day of employment that you are registered with the selective service system or that you are exempt from registration. Online registration and proof of registration is available on the Selective Service System's website.

Driving Record Check
Must possess a valid State of Texas driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record. Dependent upon the position, a Texas driving record will be obtained from the Department of Public Safety for selected candidates. If necessary, a 3 year driving record will be required of out of state applicants.
