MHD Stopped accepting bonds from Washington International Insurance Company

On March 26, 2008, the Manufactured Housing Division's ("MHD") Governing Board directed the Executive Director of MHD to stop accepting bonds from Washington International Insurance Company, pursuant to §1201.105(C) of the Texas Occupations Code. On April 2, 2008, the order to stop accepting said bonds was signed by Joe A. Garcia, Executive Director of MHD.

All licensees with bonds issued through Washington International Insurance Company will need to provide a new bond from a new bonding company upon their next license renewal. Without a new bond, their license renewal application cannot be processed and license will be suspended.
