MHD Announcement: Stakeholder’s meeting to review and consider any suggested changes and/or reorganization to the present Administrative Rules

The Manufactured Housing Division will be accepting written suggestions and/or input on any additions, deletions, clarifications, and/or reorganization of the present administrative rules.

Any suggested changes should be submitted in writing in a bullet format with rationale listed if possible, by October 16, 2009, and directed to:

mhproposedrulecomments@tdhca.texas.gov

All input received will be compiled and made available for discussion in a Stakeholder’s Meeting to be held as follows:

• 80.3(a)(3) – Remove - Branch retailer’s branch location sales license from fees.
  Rationale: Branch location license was removed from the statute.
• 80.3(k)(3) – Add that Statements of Ownership and Location may be paid by credit card or ACH, if submitted through Texas Online. 
  Rationale: New system will allow SOL processing via Texas Online.
• 80.4 – Delete the portion of that states the committee shall report as specified in §1201.205(e) of the Standards Act. 
  Rationale: Already in statute - Chapter 1201.251(e) identifies the committee’s reporting responsibility.
